Mitsui has participated in Mainstream Renewable Power, a renewable energy business, since April 2022 to further improve the quality of its power generation portfolio and accelerate the reduction of GHG emissions in society, and aims to develop 25 GW of renewable energy over the next 10 years.
In addition, starting from the renewable energy business developed by Mainstream Renewable Power, the company is working to create peripheral business opportunities such as energy services utilizing power logistics, energy management, and storage batteries, as well as the production and export of green hydrogen and ammonia.
