Mitsui is introducing Circular Pet Co., Ltd. to meet the needs of our customers to recycle PET bottles and manufacture PET bottles again.

Circular PET aims to create a circular business model in which collected used PET bottles are used as raw materials and recycled into raw materials for PET bottles again. The company's PET bottle recycling plant (Tsuyama City, Okayama Prefecture) has the capacity to produce about 25,000 tons of recycled PET resin per year, equivalent to the raw materials for about 1 billion PET bottles, and can also handle low-grade waste PET bottles.
